What Our Standard Visit Includes (The M.E.T.B. Protocol):
- Precision Mowing: We use lightweight, commercial-grade equipment to minimize soil compaction on Birmingham’s clay soils. Our blades are sharpened daily to ensure a clean cut that prevents fungal diseases like Brown Patch.
- Professional Edging: We use steel-blade stick edgers to create crisp, 90-degree lines along your driveway, sidewalks, and patios. This detail creates the polished 'estate' look that distinguishes a professional service.
- String Trimming: We meticulously trim around fences, trees, AC units, and garden beds to ensure a uniform finish across your entire property.
- Hardscape Blowing: We blow all grass clippings off your hardscapes, decks, and porches. We strictly adhere to environmental best practices, ensuring clippings never end up in storm drains.
Customized Care for Local Grass Types:
- Bermuda & Zoysia Lawns: We recommend Weekly Service during the peak growing season (May–September). Frequent mowing at a height of 1.5–2.0 inches promotes the dense, carpet-like growth these grasses are famous for and prevents unsightly scalping.
- St. Augustine & Fescue Lawns: We raise our cutting decks to 3.0–4.0 inches. This higher cut shades the soil, retaining critical moisture during the hot Alabama summers and protecting the root systems of these shade-tolerant varieties.

FAQ
Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
- No. We operate on a service agreement basis. You can cancel at any time. We believe our quality of work is the only contract we need to keep you as a customer.
How often will you mow?
- During the active growing season (April through October), we strongly recommend Weekly service for Bermudagrass and Zoysia to maintain health and appearance. Bi-weekly service is available for Centipedegrass or during the slower growth periods of early spring and late fall.
Do you bag clippings?
- Typically, we mulch clippings to return nitrogen and nutrients to the soil, which is beneficial for Alabama lawns. However, if the grass is excessively long or if you prefer bagging, we can provide this service for an additional disposal fee.
What happens if it rains on my scheduled day?
- We monitor the weather closely. If rain prevents us from mowing, we will push your service to the next available dry day (usually the following day) and notify you via text or email.
