During the active growing season (April through October) we recommend weekly mowing for Bermuda and Zoysia. Bi-weekly service is available for centipede, shady lawns and the slower weeks of early spring and late fall.

Birmingham’s red clay gets soft after heavy rain and a mower leaves ruts. We move your visit to the next dry day – usually the day after – and let you know by text or e-mail.

Usually early April through October. In November and December the focus moves to leaf removal; in winter we clear brush and trim shrubs.

Of course – just let us know a day ahead. In peak summer we do not recommend skipping, because cutting a tall lawn back down scalps it.

Usually we mulch them – fine clippings return nitrogen to the soil. If the grass is very long, or you prefer it, we bag and haul them away for a small disposal fee.
